How to apply for HEC USAT 2022

Please click on the following link to register: http://etc.hec.gov.pk.

If you have any questions about the online registration process, you can get assistance from HEC regional offices or onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk.

Complete your profile using the “My Profile” section, then submit your application using the links under “Undergraduate Studies Admission Test” in the menu panel on the left sidebar of the web portal.

Applications in SAVE or INCOMPLETE status will not be taken into consideration for the USAT Test; only applications that have been SUBMITTED will.

Each candidate must pay PKR 1,200 to take the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT). The candidates’ Habib Bank Limited Account number is 1742 7900 1334 01, where they will deposit the required fee. Higher Education Commission, Account Title.

Before the deadline for registration, applicants must send a copy of their fee deposit slip through courier, an ATM receipt, or an online transfer to the Member’s House, HEC Sector H-8, Islamabad.

The test fee is not transferable or refundable.

Punjab Workers’ Welfare Schools Announce Free Education for Workers’ Children

Punjab Workers’ Welfare Schools are offering free education to the children of workers for the academic session 2023-24. Admissions are now open in all affiliated schools across the province. Interested candidates can submit their application forms to the designated schools by March 20, 2023. Only the children of workers are eligible for admission to these schools.

Private candidates can also apply for admission to Punjab Workers’ Welfare Schools. Subject to a maximum of 20% of vacant seats in each class. Application forms can be obtained from the school principal’s office by paying a nominal fee of PKR 10/-.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Punjab Free Education Welfare Schools:

To qualify for admission to Punjab Workers’ Welfare Schools, workers must meet the following criteria:

  1. Definition of Worker: The worker must fulfill the definition of the worker as outlined in the Industrial Relations Act, 2010.
  2. Social Security Card: The worker must possess a valid social security card.
  3. Work Experience: The worker must have a minimum work experience of 3 years, except for Category-I, where there is no service period requirement.
  4. Coverage under EOBI or Social Security: Workers or Miners must be covered under EOBI or Social Security. In the case of non-coverage, an undertaking is required as stated in the advertisement.
  5. Registration under Factories Act or Mines Act: The worker’s/miner’s organization must be registered under the Factories Act or Mines Act and must have paid 2% Workers’ Welfare Fund or 5% under the Worker’s Participation Act 1968.
  6. Children of Deceased/Disabled Workers: Children of deceased/disabled workers are also eligible to apply for this scholarship if the worker/miner was deceased/disabled during service, registered under the EOBI/Social Security, and the widow/legal heir received the Death Grant from the Punjab Workers’ Welfare Board.

Application forms for admission to Punjab Workers’ Welfare Schools can be obtained from the school principal’s office. Interested candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and submit the application form before the deadline of March 20, 2023.
