Tech giant Google earlier this month introduced a login system that would not require users to use a password. In this post we will show you that how you can get rid of password for google account login.
After this system is introduced, Google users will be able to log in to their Gmail ID or other Google systems without using a password. The password system can be replaced by either a biometric identification system or a registered smartphone or a security key.
In this case, Google’s Keys will comply with FIDO Fast Identity Online (which is part of the partnership between Apple and Microsoft). So it will also be compatible with all common operating systems between them.
Google account login without password Method
To create your Google Security Key, log in to your account, click on ‘Manage your account’. After selecting ‘Security’ click on ‘Create a Passkey’.
You can also link your Google Account security to the biometric authentication methods available on your device, be it a smartphone or a computer. Usually this method is based on fingerprint or facial recognition.
If your Android phone is already linked to a Google Account, you can use it to use your Google Account on other devices.
However, Google’s password and two-factor authentication system will remain in effect. Interestingly, the new Security Keys will eliminate the need for two-factor verification, but it will still be there for those who want an extra layer of security.
