AI search war is still continue between Google and microsoft. In this scenario the first quarter of this year 2023 has been passed. And all the big tech giants earnings are revealed regarding this quarter. In Q1 there are some shocking reports about earnings of Microsoft, Google and Meta.
All the companies mentioned 30% more earnings because of AI. Mark Zuckerberg has also claimed more that Meta has earned more revenue after AI boost.
As we know that 2023 is the year of the AI revolution. So each company has washed its hands in this AI world. But in the last decade, Google was leading the search engine competition.
But since the AI has strengthen its presence, google is rolling back far behind in the latest technology. We can not say that google is dead but Microsoft has adopted some tricky strategies, due to which the company is rising surprisingly. Especially in the search Field.
As we all know that Google search engine is the world’s best search engine in the world. But Since the release of chatGPT, and chat GPT-4, people are more liking the AI powered chatbots.
The tech war boosted when Microsoft invested a huge amount of Dollars in Open AI, an artificial intelligence company. Microsoft fully backed the company with strong Financial Support. And also it had added the Open AI’s GPT models to its own search engine known as Bing or Bing Chat.
In this scenario, Google responded by announcing it’s own AI powered chat bot and model called BARD. But it failed to achieve what the OpenAI’s ChatGPT has done.
There are some reasons that why Google’s AI chatbot failed to OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
The first reason is that Google is a tech company whose most of the revenue comes from it’s search engine. So purely, google was not taking the AI revolution so seriously. And focusing on the improvement of the search engine business models only. While OpenAI is purely an artificial intelligence company. That had trained many AI models and all the world is using the OpenAI’s model.
On the other hand, Microsoft has also nothing to do so much with AI. But its investing strategy in OpenAI was the turning point. If you can not beat them in Technology, Invest in them and collaborate with them.

So Microsoft purely picked up this opportunity, as OpenAI was an independent organization and it needed some investments to achieve more goals.
Here is another flaw to be mention is that Elon Musk started the OpenAI company, he funded it and the cuttoff himself from it. And now it is in Control of Microsoft. Though Elon Musk has announced another AI startup to rival ChatGPT, but the value that ChatGPT has gained is looking impossible to beat in AI field.
So, looking forward to all these things, experts are saying that Microsoft is now slowly becoming the King of AI world. But it will be decided in future that who is the king as Google is also working on its AI powered Chat bot.
And the war is not over yet. Its just the starting of AI powered tools war. The company who maintained its reputation will be the winner. But Till now microsoft has aced the war.
