Guides for Pakistan
Smart information for a changing digital world

Editorial Policy

ProInfoDesk publishes practical guides for readers in Pakistan: money and digital payments, phones and PTA, visas, study abroad and scholarships. This page explains who writes them, how we check them and how we keep them up to date.

Who writes our guides

  • Muhammad Daniyal, founder and editor. Writes about technology and digital payments, and reviews every guide before it is published.
  • Tanzeela writes our technology, phones and PTA guides.
  • Ahmad Khan writes our education, study abroad and visa guides.

Every guide shows the name of the person who wrote it.

How we research

  • We start from official sources: PTA, FBR, NADRA, the State Bank of Pakistan, HEC, embassies and visa offices, and the fee schedules published by banks, wallets and mobile networks.
  • We link those sources inside the guide, next to the facts they support, so you can check them yourself.
  • When an official source is unclear or silent, we say so instead of guessing.
  • Where we can, we test the steps ourselves before publishing them.

How we keep guides current

Fees, tax rates, limits and visa rules in Pakistan change often. We review a guide when its official sources change, and the date at the top of each guide shows when it was last updated. Guides we can no longer keep accurate are removed rather than left online out of date.

Corrections

If you find an error or an outdated figure, please tell us through our contact page with a link to the guide. We check it against the official source and correct the guide when the report is confirmed.

Advertising and independence

ProInfoDesk is supported by display advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertisers do not decide what we write or recommend. Any sponsored content will be clearly labelled as sponsored.

What our guides are not

Our guides are general information, not legal, financial, tax or immigration advice. Always confirm the current rules with the official source before you pay a fee, submit an application or make a financial decision. ProInfoDesk will never ask you for your CNIC, passport, PIN, password or payment details.
